Daisy Fulfillment / Pricing Update 2026
Hi Friends!
We have a big update on Daisy pricing and availability, see below for details:
Volume-Based Price Tiers
This has been one of the most commonly requested features on the Daisy platform - volume-based pricing. Now when you buy more Daisy boards at a time, you will receive lower pricing.
In order to see the volume price breaks, just click on the "Buy Bulk" button on the checkout page. This will allow you to purchase "cartons" of Daisy boards, which simply means you'll be buying boxes of 100 boards at a time.
Note: for volume-based pricing you can only purchase in multiples of the carton quantity since these come pre-packaged in 100 piece boxes.
Seed2 DFM Now Available To Everyone
The Seed2 DFM is now publicly available, even without a commercial account. The whole world seems to already know about this "secret" product, but in case it's new to you, here is the deal: The DFM stands for "Design for Manufacture" and it's a Seed board, specifically designed for embedding into mass-produced products.
This philosophy results in the following changes from the normal Seed:
- Differential audio IO (improved noise specs)
- 2 additional GPIO pins
- No JTAG header installed (slimmer height profile)
- Shallow SMT headers layout (ideal for crowded/space constrained board layouts, and less PTH soldering)
Other than these changes, it's functionally identical to the existing Seed, and can be accessed in firmware without any changes to your program.
Price Changes
We have held off for as long as we can but we are going to have to apply a price increase to the Daisy product line. The biggest contributing factor has been an increase in the cost of memory chips due to AI driven capacity constraints, which has trickled down across the other parts on the BOM. While we’ve worked hard to absorb/avoid rising costs over the past couple years, we’ve reached a point where we have to do an increase. However, we’re hoping the new volume-based price breaks will help to achieve the desired economies of scale for Daisy users.
UK / EU Fulfillment Centers Update
These are still happening, and we apologize for the delay!
We are nearing the finish line for the UK center and expect it to go live around June.
EU will follow 1-2 months after that.
This has taken longer than expected due to a lot of things, and global uncertainty hasn’t helped, but we’re excited to finally offer VAT inclusive pricing and local shipping options!
