3340 VCO MU
The Electrosmith 3340 VCO is an all analog, voltage controlled waveform generator that uses a reissue of the legendary Curtis CEM3340 IC in the MU modular synthesizer format.
Many believe this chip to be the greatest sounding analog oscillator of all time. Simultaneous outputs of sine, triangle, sawtooth, and square waves are available. Temperature compensation circuitry provides precision volt per octave tracking over 10+ octaves across all temperatures and a configurable soft/hard sync input allows time reversal or hard reset of phase for each waveform. The square wave features PWM control with internal active clamp circuitry to limit duty cycle between 1% and 98%: your square will never go silent from PWM modulation. Linear and exponential FM inputs each offer input attenuverters for control over modulation amplitude as well. Snag a piece of history with the Electrosmith 3340 VCO.
- MU format synthesizer module
- CEM3340 based architecture
- Analog waveform generator
- 10+ octave range with accurate 1V/Oct tracking throughout
- Linear and exponential FM

2144 LPF MU
The Electrosmith 2144 LPF is a classic analog filter with a 24dB per octave slope in the MU modular synthesizer format.
It uses our 2144 submodule which features a reissue of the renowned SSM-2044 IC that formed the filter section for countless vintage synths. The filter's tone is warm and creamy at low resonance settings and moves into fat, over-driven squelches at the higher end of its range. It will self oscillate when resonance is cranked and outputs a pure sine tone. In addition, the frequency CV input tracks volt per octave allowing it to double as a sine wave VCO.
Available assembled or full DIY kit with all SMT installed.
- MU format synthesizer module
- Analog 4-pole low pass filter
- Renowned SSM-2044 filter topology
- CV over frequency and resonance
- Frequency CV tracks volt per octave
- Capable of self oscillation
- Doubles as sine wave VCO with V/Oct tracking

NOTE: Use pin headers (1x18, 2.54mm) for breadboarding or interfacing with other circuit boards. One L style pin header is included with purchase.
FV-1 Reverb Submodule
The Electrosmith FV-1 Reverb sub module is an off the shelf reverb solution for your next project. Power anywhere between from +5V to +15V, and you’ll be up and running with a lush hall style verb. Outputs are line level and require no additional circuitry to operate. The character of the reverberant sound can be controlled with the onboard controls including reverb time, high frequency filter, and low frequency filter.
- All SMT installed
- Plug and play reverb solution
- Power from +5V to +15V (No negative supply required)
- Lush hall style reverb
NOTE: Use pin headers (1x10, 2.54mm) for breadboarding or interfacing with other circuit boards. One L style pin header is included with purchase.
2144 LPF Submodule v1.1
The Electrosmith 2144 LPF provides smooth, analog low pass sounds via the reissue of the classic SSM2044 filter IC. This chip has provided the filter section for many famous poly synths. Tracks musical intervals and self oscillates when resonance is at max.
- All SMT installed
- Voltage controlled analog low pass filter
- Uses reissue of classic SSM2044 filter IC
- 4 pole architecture (24dB per octave)
- Tracks musical pitch intervals
- Self oscillates a pure sine tone
NOTE: Use pin headers (1x10, 2.54mm) for breadboarding or interfacing with other circuit boards. One L style pin header is included with purchase.
3340 VCO Submodule v1
The Electrosmith 3340 VCO is an analog oscillator that uses a reissue of the legendary CEM3340 IC. This chip was responsible for some of the most iconic synth sounds in history. It features simultaneous output of Sawtooth, Triangle and Pulse waveforms. These can be modulated and controlled via the frequency, FM, and PWM inputs. Two on-board trimpots allow for precise tracking of various pitch standards and can be calibrated to accurately respond up to 10 octaves.
- All SMT installed
- Sawtooth, Triangle, and Pulse waveform outputs
- Pure analog waveform generation
- Designed with +/-12V, but can be powered from various supply voltages
- Can be calibrated to various pitch tracking standards
NOTE: Use pin headers (1x12, 2.54mm) for breadboarding or interfacing with other circuit boards. One L style pin header is included with purchase.
3340 VCO EU
The Electrosmith 3340 VCO is an all analog, voltage controlled waveform generator that uses a reissue of the legendary Curtis CEM3340 IC.
Many believe this chip to be the greatest sounding analog oscillator of all time. Simultaneous outputs of sine, triangle, sawtooth, and square waves are available along with linear/exponential FM, hard/soft sync, and PWM capabilities. Volt per octave tracking covers a huge 10+ octaves and is extremely stable across all temperatures. Snag a piece of history with the Electrosmith 3340 VCO.
2144 LPF EU
The ES 2144 LPF is a classic analog filter with a 24dB per octave slope.
It uses our 2144 submodule which features a reissue of the renowned SSM-2044 IC that formed the filter section for countless vintage synths. The filter's tone is warm and creamy at low resonance settings and moves into fat, over-driven squelches at the higher end of its range. 2164 Dual VCA EU
The ES 2164 VCA is a linear, dual channel VCA. It uses our 2164 submodule to provide two independent channels of high fidelity, low noise amplification of audio or CV signals.
Each channel has a dedicated offset knob that becomes an attenuator when CV is present. In addition, channel one normals down to channel two when no signal is inserted to allow for multiple amplifications of a single source without repatching. As we all know, you can never have too many VCAs!
Pwr
Power your Eurorack the right way with the Electrosmith Pwr! Featuring clean, regulated, and protected power and daisy-chain capabilities, Pwr is the perfect first module or a reliable addition for those with plans to expand their system.
